HEATHER LAY
OWNER / CREATIVE DIRECTOR
Hello! I am so happy that you chose our team to collaborate with you on your project! We are excited to get to know you, and help you with all the many (but fun!) decisions throughout the process!
A little bit about me:
I am a mother of 6. 4 boys and 2 girls. I have been married to my husband Brock for 15 years and we are always on the go! It’s a crazy but fun time in our lives with our kids, but we wouldn’t have it any other way!
I have been working in the construction / design industry since March of 2016. I started Heather Lay Interiors in the summer of 2021 right after my twins were born. I wanted to create a space for women to be creative, learn in a positive work environment, and be part of a collaborative team.
We can’t wait to get to know you better, and walk you through the design phase of your project!
My current favorite design trend: I have always loved color, but I am happy to see it being used more frequently throughout peoples homes! RED is a favorite color that I am seeing used in interiors right now and I love it!
RACHAEL MILLER
SENIOR DESIGNER
Hi, I'm Rachael! I love cozy spaces that feel both timeless and lived-in! I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design from Oklahoma State University, where I also studied Business Management. I further expanded my design education while studying abroad in Paris, France, and have been working in the industry since 2019.
An old soul at heart, I’m drawn to blending historic charm with fresh, modern elements. With my parents being architects, I’ve had a lifelong connection to design and a trained eye for noticing unique details and character in the world around me. I married my best friend, Chris, in the spring of 2023, and we live in Edmond, OK with our sweet dog, our 20-year-old cat (yes...20 ha!), and a mischievous kitten as the newest addition to our little family!
My current favorite design trend: Seeing all of the modern elements being added into more vintage and traditional designs! I am loving all the old and new coming together!
KATHERINE LOPER

Hi, I’m Katherine! While I have a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources from the University of Central Oklahoma, I’ve always had a passion and eye for decorating and design. I’ve been in the interior design industry since 2021, and I love creating functional, cozy, and inviting spaces - from new construction to furnishings! I currently live in Edmond with my husband, our three dogs, and our new baby girl! When I’m not at work, you can find me floral designing for a local wedding florist, traveling, listening to Taylor Swift, and antique shopping!
My current favorite design trend: Color and patterns!!! As we shift away from all the plain whites and grays, I love incorporating multiple colors, prints, and textures in to every space!

Hello! I'm Cecy! I’m passionate about meaningful, timeless spaces that blend elegance, luxury, and vintage charm. I hold Bachelor’s degrees in Interior Design and Business from the University of Central Oklahoma and now help keep our studio running smoothly, organized, and well-supplied, making sure every client feels confident and supported throughout the design process. When I’m not coordinating projects and supporting our team, you’ll find me outdoors, dancing with my two kids, or binge-watching reality TV with my husband!
My current favorite design trend: I love seeing clients bring in elegant, nostalgic touches - a treasured chair (yes, your grandma's!!) or really any piece with a story that adds personality and depth to a space!

Hi, I’m Baile! I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design from the University of Central Oklahoma. My love for design began at an early age - decorating dollhouses, watching design shows, and dreaming up spaces of my own. That same creativity now fuels my passion for 3D renderings and space planning. I thrive on solving design challenges and bringing fresh, functional, and beautiful ideas to life. Design, for me, goes beyond aesthetics; it’s about shaping homes that feel warm and alive with comfort, connection, and joy. When I’m not designing, you’ll probably find me with a good book, spending time with family, or leading a small group at church!
My current favorite design trend: I’m drawn to design trends that embrace light, airy spaces and soft color palettes that make rooms feel open and inviting.
SARAH ELLIOTT
DESIGNER
Hi! I’m Sarah, and I have a Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design from the University of Central Oklahoma. I specialize in 3D digital renderings, but what I love most is designing spaces that feel both functional and full of personality. Every detail - from color and texture to lighting - matters, and I aim to create rooms that reflect the people who live in them.
Outside of work, I love spending time with my German Shepherd, Rhea, my boyfriend, Devin, and my family. I also love going to concerts and finding inspiration in my travels, whether it’s a bold palette I discover on a trip or a pattern that catches my eye at a local market.
My current favorite design trend: I will never get tired of dark and moody rooms - especially home offices! But, I am also loving bright, colorful powder rooms!
